Hastingsbury is a Foundation School for students aged 13 - 19 and is a founder member of the Kempston Education Trust. It is non-denominational and fully comprehensive in its intake. 
Hastingsbury aims to maximise the achievement of all students by emphasising the importance of high standards and high expectations. We are committed to treating all our students as individuals, closely monitor their progress and regularly praise their successes as we believe that students gain more in an atmosphere that is supportive and caring, yet is clear in its expectations and standards. |

Children In Need - Friday 20th November 2009 |
There will be a wide variety of opportunities available to raise money for this years BBC Children in Need appeal at Hastingsbury. Students are encouraged to take part in the following:
Thursday 19th November (Pre- Children in need day)
Lunch time staff V's students charity netball match on the tennis courts (Please contact Miss Wakenshaw to be involved!)
Year 9-11 Mufti Day - £1.00 donation
Year 12 & 13 Fancy Dress - £1.00 donation
Cake sales - break and lunch (Please contact Mrs Tyler for details)
'Hastingsburys Got Talent' - show in the hall, featuring a variety of acts performed by students (Please contact Miss Waller to be involved)
